Sizing

Binders are made to be tight, so getting the sizing right is key. Two fingers should fit between the binder and your ribs. Tighter isn’t better.

After trying on a binder, check yourself in a mirror. Looking straight down at your chest will make it appear bigger than it is.

Each company uses unique sizing info. Regardless of which type of binder you end up with, this sizing video below should get you the measurements needed for most companies. You will only need the first two measurements demonstrated for binders.

If you’re in between two sizes, please round up to the larger size. Do not intentionally go down in size: you will not be able to put your binder on.
If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, you can use a string to measure and then compare that to a flat ruler to get your size. If you are local to Ladysmith to Qualicum, one can be dropped off. Most dollar stores will have one as well. Measuring tapes will be available if the VI Binder Collection attends a meeting.
